On June 09, 2025, at the Hamilton City Council meeting it was reported by city manager Rhett Wade the findings of the financial audit. According to the findings only two (2) discrepancies were found. The discrepancies were minor in nature, and this is great news for the people that reside in Hamilton.
No one is perfect and it was peace of mind that Mr. Wade openly talked about the financial audit in the council meeting. The city appears to be very frugal with how money is spent and considers how it can affect the residents.
I have heard during other council meetings how Police Chief Weiss is saving money on the purchase of police vehicles. I have seen an F-150 and a Chevrolet Colorado patrolling the city. These decisions affect if our taxes are raised.
Get involved and come to the council meetings and know what is going on.
